Quantify Launches Horror Samodiva for AFM
Quantify is bringing Bulgarian horror Samodiva to the American Film Market, starring Jack Parr (Peaky Blinders) and Sophie Craig (A Working Man).
Currently in production at Nu Boyana Studios, the film is directed by Giles Alderson and inspired by the eerie legend of Balkan forest nymphs. When a grieving father uncovers a link between an antique box and his wife’s death, he must save his son from her vengeful spirit.
“This is a story of love, loss, and mythology,” said Quantify VP Dimo Aleksandrov, calling it “a fresh, globally resonant horror rooted in rich Balkan folklore.”
Samodiva continues Quantify’s collaboration with Film Forge Media and expands its slate of bold, internationally minded genre films.
